Good Morning and welcome to Day Eight of the “12 Days of Reflections Challenge” for 2014. If you’re new to this challenge, check out my previous blog post (ClickHere). This a project I do every year around the holidays where I dedicate some time to #reflect in a journal or notebook with questions and lists about the past year and my hopes for the future. Today’s reflection is:

12 Days of Reflections Day 8

“What were some of your favorite photos/pictures from 2014 and why?”
Did you take some photos with your friends or family that you love? Did you attend any events where you took pics or took some fun instagram pics you want to remember?

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. Everyday I’ll post the questions on my social media pages and website so make sure to check in (if you would like it emailed to you, please subscribe at the bottom of the homepage on www.AyeShanti.com.) Share the questions with your family and friends or even add your own if you like. You can get creative with your pages (if you want to) and just enjoy the journey. These questions can definitely be a private process, but some are light hearted and if you feel to share your page, hashtag it #reflect14 or #reflection2014 for people to find, tag myself or even email it to me at shanti@ayeshanti.com, since I’ll be sharing a few. You can follow my prompts here on www.AyeShanti.com, my Facebook page, Twitter or on Instagram. Have fun and share your entries!
Blessings,
Shanti

12 Days of Reflections Day 7

“Create a list of things you’ve accomplished in 2014 and a list of things you want to accomplish in 2015.”
Did you say to yourself in 2013 this is what I’m going to do for the New Year and you did it? How did it make you feel to accomplish your goal(s)? Do you have plans for 2015, what goals do you want to accomplish for next year?” I can’t wait to see your accomplishments!

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. Everyday I’ll post the questions on my social media pages and website so make sure to check in (if you would like it emailed to you, please subscribe at the bottom of the homepage on www.AyeShanti.com.) “What events, shows, movies, plays, books, art or cultural exhibit influenced/entertained you in 2014? What would you like to attend in 2015?” I would even add if you took a special trip or travels to this prompt. Where was it? Who did you attend or visit these places with? Why was it so memorable?

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. “What were some funny moments, hilarious or joyful moments of 2014 for you?” This is a fun prompt because you can describe a joke or something funny that happened to you, or with your family and friends that just cracks you up every time you think about it.”

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. “If you could say thank you to someone or a # of people, who would they be and why? Did you go through something traumatic or emotional and get support from family or friends? Did a bus driver wait for you before driving off, the postman made sure you got your mail or family/friends be there for you throughout the year? What about your online friends here on social media, did you get some kind of support that you want to say thank you to them?

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day.
