Good Morning and welcome to Day Three of the “12 Days of Reflections Challenge” for 2014. If you’re new to this challenge, check out my previous blog post (ClickHere). This a project I do every year around the holidays where I dedicate some time to #reflect in a journal or notebook with questions and lists about the past year and my hopes for the future. Today’s reflection is:

12 Days of Reflections Day 3

“What quote, prayer, meditation or saying inspired you this past year and why?” Did you rely on certain prayers, scriptures, chants to keep you focused or at peace? Did you find yourself sharing quotes on social media or in need of some words to keep you in high spirits? You can name one or as many as you want on your page.

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. Everyday I’ll post the questions on my social media pages and website so make sure to check in (if you would like it emailed to you, please subscribe at the bottom of the homepage on www.AyeShanti.com.) Share the questions with your family and friends or even add your own if you like. You can get creative with your pages (if you want to) and just enjoy the journey. These questions can definitely be a private process, but some are light hearted and if you feel to share your page, hashtag it #reflect14 or #reflection2014 for people to find, tag myself or even email it to me at shanti@ayeshanti.com, since I’ll be sharing a few. You can follow my prompts here on www.AyeShanti.com, my Facebook page, Twitter or on Instagram. Have fun and share your entries!
Blessings,
Shanti

Today’s reflection is:

12 Days Day Two

“What healthy (physical, emotional and mental) choices did you make in 2014 and why? What would you like to incorporate to your 2015?
Did you get back into the gym, did you try a Zumba or Socarobics class, did you start juicing, meditating, praying or taking a mental health day for yourself? What are some plans for the new year with your health?

It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. Everyday I’ll post the questions on my social media pages and website so make sure to check in (if you would like it emailed to you, please subscribe at the bottom of the homepage on www.AyeShanti.com.) Reflect2014

12 Days of Reflection 2014 Challenge
December 12-23rd
Reflection-> the ability to reflect beams or rays. Reflect-> manifest or bring back

Join me again for 12 days of Reflection 2014 #reflect14 or #reflection2014 from December 12th – 23rd filled with topics about the past year and preparing for 2015. If you don’t know about it, here’s a run down: Every year around the holidays, I dedicate some time to #reflect in a journal or notebook with questions and lists about the past year and my hopes for the New Year. Four years ago, I was so inspired by a group of women who created an online challenge of sorts called #reverb11, #relish11, or # resound11 (check those hashtags on Twitter, especially a creative woman I know name, Hope from www.Besottment.com) They gave out daily prompts or questions throughout the month of December that allowed you to think about the past year and to also prepare for the coming year through reflective writing, journaling or drawing, however I decided to create a 12 day challenge.
It doesn’t take much to start; all you need is a pen, some paper/journal or even use your notes section from your phone/tablet and a few minutes out of your day. Everyday I’ll post the questions on my social media pages and website so make sure to check in (if you would like it emailed to you, please message me at ayeshanti@gmail.com.) Share the questions with your family and friends or even add your own if you like. You can get creative with your pages (if you want to) and just enjoy the journey. These questions can definitely be a private process, but some are light hearted and if you feel to share your page, tag it #reflect14 or #reflection2014 for people to find.

Click HERE for an example of one of the reflections from 2013 #reflect11, where I added photos, doodling and some paint for fun.

(You could check out my past reflections on my blog archive). You can follow my prompts here on www.AyeShanti.com, my Facebook page, Twitter or on Instagram. Have fun and share your entries! If you post about your reflections, tag your friends and also use the hashtags: #reflect2014 or #reflect14! If you blog about it, share it with me and email me at shanti@ayeshanti.com. So check back here on Friday for the 1st day of the challenge!

Blessings,
Shanti

AyeShantiThanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a day I reflect on all the things I’m thankful for and the gathering of family and friends. Aye’ Shanti Designs want to say thank you so much to all of those family, friends and customers for their loving support and encouragement. This year has seen many changes and we almost didn’t get a NEW collection ready for the holidays but because of all the love it has helped push for great things to come. I appreciate you and hope you have a wonderful day where ever you may spend it if it’s relaxing, having fun or just enjoying the company with loved ones.

Lots of Blessings,
Shanti
